Caribbean Airlines will soon allow customers to pay for domestic flights online, in Trinidad and Tobago dollars.
In a social media post yesterday, the airline says the payment option will be available through its website, mobile app, reservations call centre and ticket offices .
Customers will be able to conduct transactions using debit and credit cards, from anywhere in the world.
Last year, CAL defended its policy of charging for tickets in US dollars, saying about 70% of its operating costs are paid in foreign currency.
