Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro is warning that any police officer involved in criminal activity will face the full force of the law.
His statement comes one day after the TTPS announced the revocation of the appointments of 17 police officers.
The Commissioner warned that officers who break their oath will be held accountable and removed from the service.
Commissioner Guevarro also reaffirmed the TTPS’ zero-tolerance approach to crime, saying all criminals will be treated equally under the law.
The Top Cop also pledged to continue strengthening institutional integrity and rebuilding public trust in the Police Service.
