Police are investigating the discovery of a body in a forested area off Esperanza Trace, Las Lomas, earlier today.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Adrian Peter Duff, who was found with multiple chop wounds.
According to the T&T Express, he called 999 about 36 hours earlier saying he had been attacked in a cocoa field.
A search was launched, with his burnt bicycle and blood trail found before the discovery of his body.
