About 5,000 fully grown cannabis trees have been destroyed in Moruga’s La Lune Forest.
The trees were found across one and a half acres of land during a Cannabis Suppression Exercise yesterday.
They had an estimated street value of $5 million.
Officers also destroyed several water containers and other cultivation equipment used to maintain the illegal plantations.
