Police have seized more than 416 kilogrammes of cocaine, valued at over 193 million dollars, during an operation in Longdenville.
Officers searched a property along Pokhor Road between Wednesday and early Thursday morning, as part of investigations into suspected illegal firearms and narcotics.
During this time, they found 420 packages concealed inside four large backhoe tyres in a warehouse.
A 42-year-old businessman from the British Virgin Islands and two Saint Lucian nationals were detained in connection with the find.
The drugs were taken to the Special Investigations Unit in Port of Spain, while investigations are continuing.
