15 households in Port of Spain and Diego Martin have received almost $140,000 in Disaster Relief and Home Repair Grants.
The Ministry of the People says the assistance will benefit 62 people who were affected by disasters, damage to their homes and other unforeseen hardships.
Minister Vandana Mohit said the grants represent more than financial assistance, as they help to restore hope, dignity and stability to vulnerable citizens.
