WASA says the El Socorro Booster Pump #1 was expected to be back to full operation by midnight on Monday.
The facility was operating at 50% capacity on Monday due to an electricity problem at the location, affecting customers in Port of Spain, Barataria, Laventille, Morvant, and other areas.
WASA says normal water supply would be gradually restored to the affected areas.
The Authority also announced that permanent repairs to the 36-inch transmission main at Beetham Gardens were successfully finished.
