The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, has officially launched UWI Games 2026, marking the first appearance of the inter-campus games since 2019.
This morning at UWI SPEC, Campus Principal Professor Rose-Marie Belle Antoine noted that the university has helped produce great athletes like Olympians Hansley Parchment and Jehue Gordon.
Meanwhile, Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Hilary Beckles highlighted the eventβs role in building regional unity and student development.
Organisers unveiled the full competition schedule for the May 21st to 29th event, which will feature over 575 athletes across 10 disciplines.
UWI Games 2026 will be held under the theme βReunited. Reignited. Ready.β
