UTT has renewed its Memorandum of Understanding with the National Council of Indian Culture, for the development and preservation of East Indian culture.

The University says the renewal builds on the agreement first established in 2022, with both entities sharing a common goal to contribute meaningfully to society while showing respect for the country’s diverse culture.

At the signing event, Tertiary Education Minister, Professor Prakash Persad, highlighted the need to align the value of this collaborative effort to national development, and its potential for commercial and research opportunities.

Also speaking was UTT’s Executive Chairman, Professor Selwyn Cudjoe, who pointed to the role education plays in this MoU, and its ability to advance culture.
