The Met Service is expecting a significant concentration of Saharan dust overnight and tomorrow.
As such, it is advising persons to take the necessary measures if they are sensitive to changes in air quality.
Saharan dust is common in T&T, occurring relatively often throughout the year.
However, according to the TTMS, it is most frequent from March to October, usually peaking in May-June-July.
June usually has the highest number of dust haze days.
