Regional and international experts will gather in T&T this week to discuss ways to advance inclusive education for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people.
The UWI St. Augustine Campus, in collaboration with the United Nations, will host the Caribbean Deaf Education Conference from July 23rd to 25th.
Held under the theme “Pathways to Inclusive Education and Human Rights for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing,” the conference will bring together specialists, researchers, and advocates to share knowledge, explore innovative approaches, and highlight best practices.
Discussions will focus on strengthening human rights protections and improving access to quality education and opportunities for Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities across the Caribbean.
