In a bid to strengthen national cybersecurity, the Homeland Security Ministry has signed a Letter of Intent with the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre or LAC4.
The LAC4 is a regional initiative supported by the European Union, that promotes cybersecurity cooperation by facilitating technical assistance, specialized training, policy dialogue, and the exchange of best practices.
The Letter of Intent itself establishes a framework for strategic collaboration to strengthen cybersecurity governance, build institutional capacity and enhance cooperation to address evolving cyber threats.
Minister Roger Alexander says it is a significant milestone in T&T’s digital transformation.
