The Trinidad and Tobago Patriots’ 4th annual Tobago Over-50 T20 Cricket Fiesta is set for 24-30 May.
The nine-team tournament was launched at the Nitro Restaurant and Bar at Dow Village, California, on Tuesday night.
Teams will compete in a group-stage format, with each side guaranteed three matches.
Games will be played from Sunday to Wednesday at venues including Moriah, Plymouth, Roxborough, and Belle Gardens Recreation Grounds.
The top teams will advance to the semi-finals and finals.
Organizers said the tournament has grown from a simple recreational concept into a major event that celebrates unity, friendship, sportsmanship, active living, and a shared passion for cricket.
Trinidad and Tobago Patriots thanked the pioneering teams and clubs that supported the initiative from its earlier days and noted that, while trophies and prizes are important, the real rewards are camaraderie, bragging rights, and the physical and mental health benefits that come from participation.
They thanked sponsors, players, and supporters for their continued commitment to the tournament’s growth and success.
Registration fee per team is TT$1,500.
