Transport Minister Eli Zakour has held his first meeting with the Caribbean Airlines Board.
This took place yesterday, on the heels of the Airline being assigned to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.
On the agenda: challenges facing the airline, with a focus on strengthening operational efficiency and improving service delivery to the travelling public.
The Ministry says these efforts are aimed at enhancing performance and positioning CAL for sustainable growth, while reinforcing the airline’s role in national, regional, and international connectivity.
It adds that it remains committed to strengthening the aviation sector.
