the Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services has extended condolences to those affected by the murder of three persons in Belmont.
Akil Kafi, his 23-month son Akanni, and a family friend, Anthony Wilson, were murdered, while a woman and her daughter were injured by unknown assailants.
The Ministry described the incident as “deeply tragic” and said it stands ready to assist.
“The Ministry, through its service delivery units, including the National Family Services Division, stands ready to support the efforts that are currently being considered by the Victim and Witness Support Unit of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service,” a statement read.
