Foreign Affairs Minister Sean Sobers says he is satisfied with the Government’s efforts to tackle crime in Trinidad and Tobago.

Speaking at today’s post-Cabinet media briefing, he said the Ministries of Homeland Security and Defense, along with the police, are using all available resources to confront criminal activity.

Minister Sobers also highlighted ongoing regional cooperation through the Shield of the Americas initiative, noting discussions with partner countries.

He said this aims to enhance intelligence sharing and support to combat transnational crime, with tangible benefits expected for the nation.
