The Tobago House of Assembly says it has received legal notice from the family of Angelica Jogie, who died in a jet ski accident at Pigeon Point in April.
The family is pursuing legal action against the THA, Pigeon Point Heritage Park Limited and the jet ski operator involved.
The T&T Express reported that THA Legal Affairs Secretary Adanna Joseph-Wallace confirmed receipt of the documents, adding that the Assembly will respond through the legal process.
When asked to comment on the matter, she said people have the right to pursue legal action if they believe it is in their best interest.
