Lab results have confirmed that the substance seized on board a vessel intercepted by the Coast Guard is cocaine.
The seizure totalled 440.2 kilograms and has an estimated street value of over $204.5 million.
The Coast Guard says the exhibits have been processed in accordance with established evidential procedures, with the matter now being handled by the relevant law enforcement authorities.
The vessel in question was intercepted yesterday in the northern Gulf of Paria, with four men on board.
