The son of slain businessman Danny Guerra is among 16 people now detained under preventative detention orders linked to ongoing gang investigations.
It is the second time that Garvin Aaron Guerra, also known as Gavin Guerra, he has been held under a PDO.
Authorities say the latest detention orders, signed by Minister Roger Alexander, target several gangs operating across East Port-of-Spain, Sangre Grande and southern districts.
Among those held are alleged members of the 6 Gang, 7 Gang and 9 Gang, as police continue efforts to disrupt organized crime networks and prevent further violence.
