Skeletal human remains have been found in a deserted area off Mission Road, Freeport, prompting a police investigation.
According to the T&T Express, the discovery was made around 8PM on Tuesday, after police received an anonymous report of a decomposed body.
Officers from the Central Division Task Force, Area South, found the remains about 20 feet from the roadway.
A skull was found nearby, while a rope with a noose was discovered hanging from a tree above the remains.
