Secondary school principals from across T&T have completed 11 days of intensive professional training, ahead of the opening of the new academic year.
The Education Ministry says the 2026 School Supervision and Management Division’s Practitioner Enhancement Series is aimed at strengthening leadership, planning and school-management skills.
Speaking at the Certification Ceremony today, Education Minister Dr Michael Dowlath underscored the critical role of principals in converting national education policy into meaningful results for students.
He also encouraged principals to establish clear strategic directions for their schools, grounded not only in national priorities but also in the particular strengths, circumstances and needs of the students and communities they serve.
