Search efforts in Los Iros have ended, as all persons on board a capsized pirogue have now been accounted for.
Yesterday, the bodies of a 6-year-old girl and an adult man were recovered, with searches continuing for two more persons believed to be missing.
This effort involved the Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Vallence Rambharat, as well as members of the TTPS Air Support Unit and Coastal Unit and Coast Guard.
According to Mr Rambaharat, they received confirmation yesterday evening that aside from the two deceased, everyone else on board was safe.
The pirogue in question capsized on Wednesday afternoon, shortly after leaving Trinidad for Venezuela.
