The late broadcaster, Sadro Mohammed is being remembered as a cultural voice who helped bring people together through his work in community, music, and tradition.
At his funeral this afternoon, broadcaster Kiran Maharaj described him as an icon in the local broadcast and music industry, also reflecting on his early days at 103.1 FM.
Meanwhile, Speaker of the House Jagdeo Singh paid tribute to what he called Sadro’s most enduring legacy, “The People’s Platform”.
Sadro Mohammed passed away on Sunday at the age of 63, following a period of illness.
