The PNM’s line-up of senators will undergo a change.
This was announced by Opposition Leader, Pennelope Beckles, during a media briefing today.
A new session of Parliament will begin on Friday, and Ms Beckles says her policy will be to “rotate senators”, with many factors considered.
Ms Beckles says one factor considered was a resignation.
This was submitted by Senator Janelle John-Bates, who was found to have helped former health minister Terrence Deyalsingh with his witness statement for the PAAC, of which she is a member.
