Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says the โbest is yet to comeโ for Trinidad and Tobago.
In a video posted via X, the Prime Minister shared her wishes for the New Year.
In another post, she praised the Governmentโs efforts for lowering the national murder rate, in Trinidad and Tobago.
She said it was reduced by 42%, marking the “the largest decline in our nationโs history and one of the most significant drops globally this year.”
She thanked Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro and highlighted the role of Attorney General John Jeremie, Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander, and others in reducing both the murder rate and serious crime.
