Planning Minister Dr. Kennedy Swaratsingh has held high-level discussions with Israel’s Ambassador Mattanya Cohen and Ambassador Eynat Shlein, Director General of MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation.
In a statement, the Ministry said the meeting centred on expanding collaboration in several strategic areas, including modern agriculture, education, cybersecurity, smart cities, climate resilience, and institutional capacity building.
Discussions also explored innovative Public-Private Partnership models and opportunities to enhance competitiveness and growth for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Minister Swaratsingh is said to have underscored the importance of leveraging international partnerships to accelerate T&T’s development agenda.
He added that that strengthening partnerships with international agencies such as MASHAV aligns with the Government’s commitment to fostering innovation, improving public sector performance, and creating an enabling environment for sustainable economic growth.
