A PH driver has been denied bail after appearing in court charged with the murder of 12-year-old Mercedez Layne.
26-year-old Richard Renalis appeared virtually before Master Kateisha Ambrose-Persadsingh.
He was remanded into custody with a sufficiency hearing set for February 4th.
The child’s body was found in a forested area in Erin on Sunday, one day after she was reported missing.
