Pete Russell has decided to step back from his current full-time role as CEO of the Caribbean Premier League.
Russell, who was part of the original founding team, will remain in place until a new CEO is appointed.
He is also expected to continue supporting the Board and leadership team.
Regarding the decision to step back, Russell did not give a specific reason, stating instead that he was “incredibly proud” of the tournament’s growth and international standing.
He added, “It has been the privilege of a lifetime to be part of this journey.”
