Technical assessments are now underway to address a collapsed and overflowing drain along S.S. Erin Road near Rampersad Trace in Debe.
The issue follows complaints from residents about the overflowing drains and foul odors affecting the area over the past several days.
In a Facebook post this morning, Gowtam Maharaj said repair works are expected to begin soon.
WASA is currently is clearing the site, which is expected to provide a short term solution.
