Director of Police Complaints Authority David West says the Authority’s IT manager, who was killed on Wednesday, had no direct dealings with police cases.
According to the T&T Express, Mr West said the victim’s role was limited to managing the PCA’s IT systems and he could not comment on whether the killing was linked to his employment.
The 38-year-old man was shot while sitting inside his Honda Vezel SUV, at the car park of an insurance company, along the Caroni Savannah Road in Charlieville.
Police say the motive for the murder remains unknown.
