Over 100 cannabis trees have been destroyed by the TTPS.

Police also seized several firearms and held one suspect during a coordinated exercise yesterday morning.

Between 3am and 8am, officers conducted targeted operations at multiple locations, including Wharf Trace in Maracas, St Joseph.

At one residence linked to a person of interest, a search of the yielded no contraband; however a search of the surrounding area saw the discovery of 56 plant buckets containing cannabis plants.

The plants were seized, and one suspect was arrested and taken to the St. Joseph Police Station.

In a separate operation, officers were led along a bushy track to a location where 75 fully grown cannabis trees were discovered, along with two shotguns and one rifle.
