The Opposition has accused the Government of making the local manufacturing sector less competitive.
During a media conference today, MP Brian Manning claimed the current administration took away certain special provisions made for the sector.
Mr Manning also accused the Government of failing to ensure competitive gas prices for local and foreign manufacturers, which he says has further hurt the industry.
He has since called on the Finance Minister to reconsider some of the policies put in place.
