A new Board of Directors has been installed at PowerGen.
The new Board will be chaired by Jasodra Rampersad and includes Deputy Chair Nathan Jeremie, and members Omesh Ramberran and Hardeo Bahall.
According to the Public Utilities Ministry, the installation of the new Board follows a period of strategic transition within the country’s electricity generation sector.
Minister Barry Padarath also underscored the critical role of sound corporate governance in maintaining a reliable electricity supply and positioning PowerGen to meet the evolving demands of the national energy landscape.
