The NCRHA is denying claims circulating online that oxygen tanks were removed from the Caura Hospital, due to payment issues with Massy Gas Products.
In a statement issued today, the NCRHA said checks with hospital management confirmed there are no problems with the oxygen supply or oxygen tanks at the facility.
The Authority also stated that Massy Gas Products confirmed there are no financial issues between the company and the NCRHA.
According to the release, 67 oxygen cylinders were delivered to the hospital yesterday, while 20 cylinders were collected for refilling.
The NCRHA is urging the public to avoid spreading unverified information online.
