A memo purporting to be from the Health Ministry regarding the temporary closure of schools, is fake.
This is according to the Ministry, which is urging persons not to share or disseminate the inaccurate information.
The memo claims that schools would be closed due to concerns regarding Hantavirus.
While there is an outbreak linked to a cruise ship in the Atlantic, there are no cases of Hantavirus in T&T.
The Ministry says any verified and official updates can be found on its official website and social media platforms.
