A number of books have been donated by the Education Ministry to the Health Ministry for the Couva Children’s Hospital.
The books were officially handed over by Education Minister Dr. Michael Dowlath, to Health Minister Dr. Lackram Bodoe during a brief ceremony at the hospital on Saturday.
The Health Ministry says the donation is intended to provide young patients with access to engaging and educational reading materials during their stay at the facility.
Dr Bodoe adds that reading materials can play a valuable role in creating a more positive and supportive environment for young patients and their families.
