A plane that went missing en-route from St Vincent to Tobago, has been found.

According to St Vincent’s Deputy Prime Minister, Major St. Clair Leacock, the Dominican Republic-registered aircraft has been located.

He adds that no lives have been lost, but declined to elaborate, saying “I cannot share all of the information that we have on it.”

He reportedly referred to the situation as a delicate security matter that intelligence and security forces are continuing to closely monitor.

What he did say however is that authorities were focusing their attention on those aboard the aircraft.

The Beechcraft Baron 58 left Argyle International Airport in St Vincent at 11:52am on Friday with two people on board.

It was due to arrive at the ANR Robinson International Airport in Tobago after a one-hour five-minute flight, but failed to arrive.
