A 20-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Raaian Ragoobar, whose body was found at Cocal Estate in Manzanilla, on May 18th 2026.
The 23-year-old victim was severely beaten, with an autopsy pointing to multiple blunt force traumas as the cause of death.
Jahim Picton of Gajadhar Road, Sangre Chiquito, and Vaid Road, Sangre Grande, was subsequently arrested and charged with his murder.
The accused appeared before Master Ali on Monday, with the matter adjourned to November 19th 2026, for a sufficiency hearing.
