The T&T Coast Guard has intercepted a vessel carrying four men and packages suspected to contain narcotics, in the northern Gulf of Paria.
This took place today, with the vessel then escorted to Coast Guard headquarters at Staubles Bay, Chaguaramas, where further searches were conducted.
The packages were reportedly individually wrapped in plastic.
The men, vessel and packages were handed over to law enforcement for further processing.
