Tragedy has again struck the Eversley family.
Only days after slain Woman Police Corporal Anusha Eversley was laid to rest, her father has died at the San Fernando General Hospital.
Anusha’s uncle, the political activist, Wendell Eversley, made the announcement on Facebook last night.
WPC Eversley was murdered on 19 April in the line of duty at the San Fernando Municipal Police Station during an attack in which 123 firearms and over 4,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen.
One of her colleagues is among three men arrested and charged with her murder and other charges connected with the robbery.
