Former Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has denied any knowledge of being on a special list at T&TEC.
Yesterday in the Parliament, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar named several individuals that she alleged were protected from disconnection for non-payment.
In a statement posted to social media, Dr Rowley insisted that he pays all electricity bills for his properties in Trinidad and Tobago, as does his wife.
He also denied ever requesting or being offered any form of protection from T&TEC’s billing or disconnection procedures.
