India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, will participate in a series of official engagements with the Prime Minister during his official visit to T&T.
Foreign Affairs Minister Sean Sobers told today’s post-Cabinet briefing that the visit will run from May 8th to 9th.
He said the itinerary includes bilateral talks with the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the House, as well as other Parliamentary engagements on May 8th.
He also outlined other key engagements of the visit carded for May 9th.
Minister Sobers said the visit follows last year’s engagement with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will advance existing agreements between both countries.
