Police are continuing their investigation into the jet-ski incident at Pigeon Point that claimed the life of seven-year-old Angelica Saydee Jogie.

A senior police official told 103.1FM News today that investigators are awaiting “technical evidence” before returning to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Angelica was struck by a jet-ski while bathing with relatives in a designated swimming area at the Pigeon Point Beach Facility on April 8th.

Following the incident, the Tobago Marine Park Bill was passed unanimously by the THA on April 23rd.

This seeks to increase the penalty for unauthorised entry into the marine park.
