The Caribbean Examinations Council is moving to strengthen the regionβs workforce by teaming up with major employersβ groups across CARICOM.
CXCβs Pro-Registrar, Dr. Eduardo Ali, says the organisation will officially launch a Regional Employersβ Consortium in early 2026.
The consortium will provide real-time labour market data to help shape CXCβs qualifications.
Dr Ali says the initiative will boost the regionβs ability to forecast job market needs and ensure students are graduating with the skills employers demand.
CXC will coordinate skills and employability surveys every two years as part of the programme.
