CXC teams up with employers’ groups

The Caribbean Examinations Council is moving to strengthen the region’s workforce by teaming up with major employers’ groups across CARICOM.

CXC’s Pro-Registrar, Dr. Eduardo Ali, says the organisation will officially launch a Regional Employers’ Consortium in early 2026.

The consortium will provide real-time labour market data to help shape CXC’s qualifications.

Dr Ali says the initiative will boost the region’s ability to forecast job market needs and ensure students are graduating with the skills employers demand.

CXC will coordinate skills and employability surveys every two years as part of the programme.
