The Caribbean Examinations Council is moving to strengthen the regionโs workforce by teaming up with major employersโ groups across CARICOM.
CXCโs Pro-Registrar, Dr. Eduardo Ali, says the organisation will officially launch a Regional Employersโ Consortium in early 2026.
The consortium will provide real-time labour market data to help shape CXCโs qualifications.
Dr Ali says the initiative will boost the regionโs ability to forecast job market needs and ensure students are graduating with the skills employers demand.
CXC will coordinate skills and employability surveys every two years as part of the programme.
