The Trinbago Knight Riders will begin their defence of the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League title on August 8 against the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in a historic opening fixture in St Vincent.
The CPL officially unveiled its 2026 schedule on Tuesday, confirming a 39-match tournament running from August 7 to September 20, with seven teams competing for the first time in the competition’s history.
Reigning champions the Knight Riders will start their campaign away from home, facing the Patriots before travelling to Jamaica to meet the Kingsmen on August 15, and then Antigua to take on the Falcons on August 22.
Their home campaign in Trinidad begins on August 26 against the Saint Lucia Kings. The Knight Riders will then host the Barbados Royals on August 28, Jamaica Kingsmen on August 31, and the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons on September 2.
They round off their preliminary fixtures with away matches against the Barbados Royals on September 5 and the Guyana Amazon Warriors on September 11.
The playoffs begin in Barbados on September 13, with the final scheduled for September 20 at Kensington Oval.
CPL officials say the expanded 2026 season will also feature matches in St Vincent & the Grenadines for the first time, while Barbados will host the finals week in a major milestone for the tournament.
