The T&T Coast Guard has seized a suspected drug trafficking vessel off the coast of South Trinidad.
Around 7:30pm on Sunday, a patrol boat was conducting searches for an overturned vessel when officers on board observed a pirogue heading from Venezuela to Trinidad.
That vessel was intercepted and on board, the TTCG found 252 packets of a green plant-like substance.
The packets, vessel and two occupants were subsequently handed over to the Police Service.
