Chief Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh has led inspections of the court facilities in Tobago, as the Judiciary assesses the condition and future use of its buildings on the island.
During the visit, the Chief Justice toured the Family Court and Magistrates’ Court in Scarborough, where he met with court staff and attorneys to discuss concerns affecting the delivery of justice.
He also visited the closed Roxborough Court building and pledged to continue discussions with stakeholders, as plans for the island’s court facilities move forward.
The Judiciary says the visits are aimed at ensuring court facilities remain functional and meet future needs.
