Canada has introduced temporary border measures in response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised that Canada has suspended immigration documents for travellers from countries considered high or very high risk for Ebola for 90 days.
These include the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan.
Canadian authorities have also introduced a 21-day quarantine requirement for eligible travellers who have recently been in those countries.
The measures are precautionary, and do not affect persons already in Canada.
