Caribbean Airlines has introduced a new Digital Gift Card programme.
As its name suggests, it will provide an additional payment and gifting option for travel across the airline’s network.
Available from today, the digital gift cards can be purchased through the Airline’s website and will be delivered electronically via email.
It can then be redeemed online and go towards the purchase of eligible CAL tickets and other services such as extra baggage, pre-order meals and preferred seating.
CAL’s Acting Chief Executive Officer Varma Khillawan says, “We are continuously looking for ways to enhance customer experience and make travel more convenient. The introduction of digital gift cards provides customers with a practical and flexible way to support travel for themselves or others, whether for special occasions, family visits, business travel or future travel planning.”
The Airline says the introduction of digital gift cards forms part of its ongoing efforts to enhance customer convenience and provide greater flexibility in how customers plan, manage and pay for travel.
