A businessman and a soldier have appeared in court charged with a double murder in Fyzabad on August 21st 2026.
Richard Mc David and Anslem Nicholas were injured during an altercation with a group of men and later died at the Siparia Health Facility.
Businessowner, Victor Delwyn, and Shandon Woodley, who is attached to the T&T Defence Force, were both arrested on September 9th and subsequently charged.
They appeared before Master Ambrose Persadsingh in the South Criminal Court on September 11th 2026, with the matter now adjourned to October 30th 2026.
